Terms & Conditions
Effective August 5, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Sunshine Patient Advocacy and Support Services website, products, and services. By using this website or purchasing a product or service, you agree to these terms. Additional written agreements may apply to individual advocacy services; if there is a conflict, the applicable signed service agreement controls for that service.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Sunshine Patient Advocacy provides independent, non-clinical patient advocacy, healthcare navigation, education, organization, research, resource guidance, and communication support. The specific scope of any paid advocacy service is described at the time of purchase or in the applicable service agreement.
NOT MEDICAL, LEGAL, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE
Sunshine Patient Advocacy is not a medical provider, law firm, financial adviser, insurance company, or government agency. Information and advocacy support are educational and organizational in nature and are not a substitute for advice from a licensed physician, attorney, financial professional, or other appropriately licensed professional. No physician-patient, attorney-client, or similar licensed-professional relationship is created by using this website or our advocacy services.
EMERGENCIES
Sunshine Patient Advocacy is not an emergency service and does not provide emergency medical care. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate care from an appropriate medical provider.
CLIENT DECISIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You remain responsible for your own healthcare, legal, financial, and personal decisions. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for deciding whether and how to act on resources, options, or recommendations discussed during advocacy services.
PRICING, PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, AND REFUNDS
Pricing may vary based on the service, complexity, urgency, and level of support requested. Current pricing or a personalized quote will be provided before purchase or service. Payment, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms shown at checkout or contained in an applicable service agreement govern that transaction.
DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND PERSONAL USE
Digital downloads, workbooks, binders, templates, guides, and other materials sold or provided by Sunshine Patient Advocacy are for the purchaser’s personal, non-commercial use unless written permission states otherwise. They may not be resold, redistributed, reproduced for commercial use, or presented as another person’s work.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Website content and Sunshine Patient Advocacy materials, including original text, graphics, tools, workbooks, templates, and educational resources, are owned by or licensed to Sunshine Patient Advocacy and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Limited personal use does not transfer ownership rights.
THIRD-PARTY RESOURCES
We may provide links, contact information, or referrals to third-party providers, facilities, agencies, organizations, or resources. Inclusion of a resource does not guarantee availability, eligibility, quality, coverage, acceptance, or outcome and does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME
Advocacy services are designed to provide information, organization, support, and a clearer path forward. We do not guarantee approval of benefits, placement, coverage, treatment outcomes, provider decisions, response times, or any particular result.
INDEPENDENCE
Sunshine Patient Advocacy is an independent advocacy business. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any hospital, health system, healthcare provider, insurer, employer, government agency, or other outside organization.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sunshine Patient Advocacy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this website, reliance on general website information, third-party resources, or decisions made by third parties. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
