Meet Pamela Pierce

As a Board Certified Patient Advocate and Certified Community Health Worker, I help individuals and families navigate healthcare with clarity, compassion, and confidence. My approach combines professional experience across complex care settings with deeply personal advocacy.

I have supported patients across complex care settings, helping them understand treatment options, navigate care transitions, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams. My approach is rooted in listening first—ensuring each person’s values, goals, and wishes remain central to every decision.

My commitment to advocacy was shaped by personal experience. I walked alongside my mother throughout her breast cancer journey, researching treatment options, helping her weigh risks and benefits, and honoring her wishes through surgery, treatment, and ultimately hospice care when she could no longer advocate for herself. I have also supported my family through difficult transitions, including helping my mother-in-law and her mother understand levels of care when living independently was no longer safe. These experiences taught me how overwhelming the healthcare system can feel—and how powerful it is to have someone in your corner. Sunshine Patient Advocacy and Support Services exists to provide that steady, informed support when it matters most.
